Last year, BBC Blue Planet II in Concert premiered, receiving critical acclaim among all age groups. To let more people understand the drastic challenge of biodiversity, Delta hosts the Planet Earth II Live In Concert a on September 10th, same day as the Mid-Autumn Festival. Delta will utilize its world-class 8K laser projection technology to display the magnificent natural images on an 800-inch screen. On that day, the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonic Chorus will perform works from Hans Zimmer, the prominent music composer, and the music for the respective episodes by Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe for Bleeding Fingers Music, a venture by Zimmer under Sony Music. Audiences can feel the vitality of the Earth by capturing sounds from wildlife and mix to music.
At the concert, people will learn about the Earth and the abundant life that lives concurrently with human beings and see rare species, including snow leopards living in the Himilaya Mountains, rare swimming sloths in islands in Panama, or giraffes which seem tame but fearlessly fight against their lion predators. Michael Gunton, Planet Earth II producer, said that Planet Earth took an almost "Godlike" perspective: "Let's look down on the Earth and see the scale of the planet." Planet Earth II used hand-held stabilized camera and aerial drone technology to follow animals' footprints and travel together, feeling like lemuridae jumped over viewers' shoulders.
